BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS

As a geologist, the most beautiful moments are in the field, specially if you find a new thing or if you see something for your first time. This picture was taken when I saw the Blue Marl with a schistose appearance, the first time, in Dahra Monts, Tellian Atlas. Algeria.

This appearance plus the  subvertical dip of sandstones are the footprints of the Alpine Tertiary tectonics.
